EUREM 'European Energy Manager' is an educational programme developed in Germany more than 20 years ago, which has helped to train over 4 500 public- and private-sector enterprises, building managers, production managers and process engineers how to reduce energy use. In Slovenia, the first EUREM scheme was organised as part of the project EUREM.NET in 2008.
Handbooks and other literature on the production, design, use and control of forest biomass in Slovenia. The material includes useful information on energy contracting, wood biomass quality, case studies in biomass use for energy production, district heating systems, heating greenhouses with biomass, green electrical energy, biofuel production, Slovenian biomass producers and biomass logistic centres, as well as a handbook dedicated to biomass fuels.
At the beginning of the project Biomasstradecentre II, partners prepared a list of relevant topics on advanced techniques and technologies in biomass production. This document delineates technical backgrounds for advanced techniques and technologies in biomass production and gives an overview of the latest research and development achievements in this field. The gathered material will be used as background material for the preparation of workshops and trainings.
