Amulet Webinar - FullHD (5)

Description

The microstructure of 6XXX aluminium alloys is gaining nowadays increasing interest in the automotive field since it affects the mechanical, crash, corrosion and aesthetic properties of light metal components. In this context, the present webinar aims to present the analysis of the recrystallization kinetics during the hot extrusion of 6XXX aluminium alloys, as well as the development of reliable recrystallization models to be used in FEM codes for microstructural prediction at a tool design stage, thereby avoiding expensive and time-consuming trials and errors.
