SlovSEFF is a sustainable energy financing facility developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Its latest extension, co-funded by the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment of Spain, provides a credit line of up to € 100 million to Slovak commercial banks. Incentive payments are funded from the proceeds of the sale of carbon credits from the Slovak Republic to Spain, facilitated by the EBRD.

The tool can calculate the environmental, social and reputational impacts of extraction and production (supply, price of minerals and metals used), as well as the risk associated with volatile supplies. The tool includes fact sheets of products and a list of raw materials needed (e.g. batteries) and fact sheets for raw materials (e.g. iron, silver).
