The SOKÓŁ programme helps companies develop or implement innovative environmental technologies that reduce the impact of their plants, installations and equipment on the environment, as part of their national smart specialisation measures.

The aim of the Ecological Accumulator for Industry (E-Kumulator) programme is to reduce the negative impact of projects on the environment through investment activities. This includes reduced consumption of primary raw materials (as part of production) by replacing them with recyclable materials or waste. The programme also includes projects that reduce the amount of waste produced and harmful emissions released into the atmosphere.

Farming Connect is one of four schemes within the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which focuses on revitalisation of rural communities and provides support for agriculture and forestry in Wales.

Practical guidelines to help companies apply life cycle costing (LCC) and life cycle assessment (LCA) principles to reduce their products' environmental impacts while contributing to greater social and economic well-being. The case studies included in the guide help to show LCC methodology in practice.

These ecodesign guidelines help companies to introduce environmental improvements in their product design processes. They include technical specifications based on general life cycle assessments and previous research and data.

The handbook includes four case studies of Basque companies that successfully implemented the steps and the improvements they reported in the product designs and innovation, but also in terms of the environmental benefits (i.e. reduced product weight, minimised energy consumption, etc.) and company image.

Ekoscan provides a working method to help companies, including SMEs, incorporate environmental thinking into their daily business routines by involving the whole company and consolidating internal knowledge. The tool establishes the environment as a management function not just a cost. Performance indicators built into Ekoscan show companies the economic benefit of measures taken in their Environmental Improvement Action Plan.
