OVAM SIS Toolkit

The OVAM Sustainable Innovation System (SIS) Toolkit helps designers to integrate sustainability principles in their innovation processes. It focsuses on the integration of five types of value creation: human, intellectual, financial, social, and natural capital. The toolkit was developed by OVAM and sustainability consultants were trained in its use as part of their consulting activities for companies.

Ecodesign tool for product designers to calculate the environmental impact of their product, both as a whole and for each step in the life cycle. The ecolizer tool takes into account the environmental impact (in 19 indicators) of the used materials, processes, packaging and transport.  All this information is reduced to one clear environmental score.

DIAGADEME is an online platform set up by Ademe in 2010. It links expert consultants with organisations such as SMEs and public institutions looking for advisory services in energy and environmental topics. It is the dedicated platform for all such services provided under an Ademe grant. The online resource centre provides lists of registered consultants, specifications and required documents.

Objective CO2 is an emission-reduction programme in the transport sector. It is the only national-level scheme in France offering companies a structuring framework for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and air pollutants in their transport activities. The programme is supported by Ademe and AFT, a French association for professional training in the transportation sector.

Base IMPACTS is the official database of the French programme for environmental labeling of consumer goods. It has been built in parallel with the Product Category Rules (PCRs) of the 'ADEME platform'.

Bilans GES - GHG assessment

Bilans GES is an on-line resource centre with information, guides, database and tools on greenhouse gases (GHG) assessment and reduction.

It enables companies to provide a GHG inventory; the quantity emitted (or captured) by an organisation or territory over one year of activity. The emissions are classified according to predefined categories which helps to identify those with the greatest carbon impact and thus where action is most needed.

Ademe Financial Support is intended for a large range of actors and projects, including territorial communities and businesses, and covers research to implementation in Ademe's areas of action: environment, energy and sustainable development. PLAGE - Local Action for the Use of Energy

PLAGE helps companies and other organisations in the service sector to decrease energy use in the buildings they own. It focuses on optimising and rationalising energy consumption by buildings and infrastructure.

PLAGE guides the user through a step-by-step approach and provides several helpful tools such as checklist, calculators, etc. PLAGE users have reported being able to reduce their energy consumption by 15 to 20 % (and sometimes more) in just a few years.
