The Carbon Ready Reckoner (CRR) is an online tool specifically developed to enable interested parties in the food and drink sector to evaluate their carbon impact relating to design changes in:

  • Packaging weight
  • Recycled content or recycling rate
  • Product concentration and palletisation efficiencies in transportation

The CRR facilitates user’s understanding of the impact of design changes and their contribution towards a company’s carbon targets.

The energy service of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism in Cyprus has established a registry of certified energy efficiency and performance experts who are authorised to issue Energy Performance Certificates for buildings.

This on-line calculator by Slovak Gas Industry (SPP), a major energy supplier in Slovakia, provides useful calculations of costs and CO2 emissions of hot water preparation. After inserting basic input data (volume and temperature of water), the user gets information about energy consumption and costs for two options: natural gas boiler and electric boiler. A similar calculation is provided for generation of CO2 emissions.
