INPUT PAPER: Clusters meet Regions event Exploring the Innovation Ecosystem: Clusters as Catalysts for Regional Competitiveness the case of the Podkarpackie region

The following paper presents relevant information ahead of the Clusters meet Regions event taking place in Rzeszów on June 3 & 4, 2025. It focuses on the role of clusters in boosting regional competitiveness, supporting smart specialisation, and advancing green and digital transitions. It will also serve as a platform to discuss security, dual-use technologies, and advancements in the drone industry. This paper presents observations on the cluster landscape in the Podkarpackie region in Southeastern Poland and outlines some considerations for the future development of the region.
