The primary responsibilities of Ireland's Environmental Protection Agency include: Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the environment; Regulating industry and waste operations; and Radiological protection. It also has responsibility to implement the National Waste Prevention Programme. This programme is firmly focussed on Resource Efficiency and include a significant business focused activity that includes supports for SMEs.
