CGBC was formed in 2009 by 24 reputable companies and institutions as a non-profit organisation. With over 115 members, the association is considered for a valuable source of information, contacts, knowledge and all other forms of support for stakeholders active in the segment of the green economy, sustainable development, green building, energy efficiency, climate change, and environmental protection. CGBC is an established member of the World Green Building Council ( www.worldgbc.org ) and active member of the European Regional Network of Green Building Councils in which together we represent the largest global professional community for the promotion and implementation of the principles of green building in the world.
Fields of activity of our members include: professional and expert areas - engineers, architects, consultants, lawyers, designers, auto industry; sectors of finance, energy, construction, hotel industry, manufacturing, transport, information and communication technologies, research organizations and academic society; local governments; development agencies; consulting companies; governmental institutions and organizations; owners and users of buildings and individuals.
