Key results

The energy and environment measures implemented by the hotel covered several steps:

  • Pre-assessment; forming of clean production (CP) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) teams, definition of the audit focus, description of the company and its stakeholder relations
  • Analysis of data and performance; related to labour issues and external relations and data for consumables
  • Synthesis; examination of the processes and the CSR and CP measures (options), setting out key performance indicators and estimation of their economic, ecological and social benefits
  • Action plan; put in place to implement the measures and monitor the results

Monitoring the energy consumption by departments was implemented as part of a hotel-wide programme.
