Training course "Energy Management and Energy Efficiency in Companies" - German

15.01.2019 09:00 to 17.01.2019 18:00
OÖ Energiesparverband, Landstraße 45
Linz
Austria

Rising operating costs and efforts to reduce CO2 emissions now increasingly focus on the efficient use of energy in companies. Professionally planned and implemented energy efficiency measures help to reduce energy costs and make companies more competitive. Technological innovations offer new possibilities for energy efficiency in companies.

The course "Energy Efficiency and Energy Management in Companies" imparts the know-how needed to identify potential savings in company buildings and facilities and to develop and implement technically and economically sensible measures.

The course will focus on thematic areas linked to company energy management as well as energy, building and process technology. Efficient solutions for important industrial energy consumers as well as details of their implementation will be presented, e.g. for heating/ventilation/air conditioning, lighting, production processes, renewable energy and innovative approaches to space heating, water heating, compressed air, motors, propulsion systems and e-mobility.

By working on case studies, course participants learn to develop economically viable solutions in relevant scenarios and to achieve transparency in energy consumption. One training day is dedicated to an on-site visit of completed energy efficiency projects. This enables a more hands-on approach to learning about energy-efficient companies and plants. A practical project rounds off the training content.

With regard to energy auditor qualifications (§ 17 EEffG) this course awards 11 points in the building sector and 12 points in the process sector.
