Dcarbonise is sponsored by the Scottish Government, Energy Saving Trust and Zero Waste Scotland and will focus on energy efficiency, low carbon heat and low carbon transport solutions.

A brand new, and free event, Dcarbonise is designed specifically for customers who are energy end-users. Come along to discover the latest solutions for energy efficiency and low carbon heat.

If you are a landlord or manage housing stock, it’s an ideal opportunity to prepare yourself for pending changes. The Scottish Government’s minimum energy efficiency requirements for privately rented properties will come into effect on 1 April 2020 and will affect:

  • domestic private sector landlords with small property portfolios
  • non-domestic landlords and
  • the public sector

This event will also be of interest to private sector landlords with larger property portfolios; local authorities; commercial businesses; architects and designers; the wider supply chain. Trade bodies will learn first-hand about energy solutions that will affect their members and be better placed to help them with business readiness.

Come along to our central ‘hub’ to visit Zero Waste Scotland and Resource Efficient Scotland, Energy Saving Trust and Home Energy Scotland. You can meet representations from each organisation and participate in free ‘advice clinics’, or simply chat about how to improve your energy efficiency and related operating costs.

Talk to Resource Efficient Scotland about how our free support saves businesses an average of 24% on their energy bills. We’d also be delighted to speak to you about energy strategies which may incorporate district heating and low carbon heat technologies.

To maximise your visit there is a range of demonstrations; quick fire seminars, workshops and 1-2-1 meeting opportunities on the exhibition floor.

The Dcarbonise conference incorporates Smart Urban Mobility Solutions stream including sessions on low carbon transport sessions. And to drive the learning home, you can test drive in low carbon vehicles and explore the showcase area for low carbon and smart transport technologies.
