Noon Iberica S.L.U.: SME Beneficiary of the 2nd Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects

SME winners announcement | SILEO 2° Open Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects
Congratulations to NOON Iberica, Spanish lighting SME awarded under the SILEO 2nd Open Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects!
👉 NOON light solutions is a company dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing and distribution of high-tech lighting products; we are specialists in national and international lighting advice and in the supply of high-quality lighting equipment.
Specialised in outdoor lighting projects with advanced lighting control requirements, our goal is to improve the experience of architecture and landscape, both from an aesthetic and technical point of view.
Light is the intangible material that helps to increase the perceptions of spaces and architecture. Light can be used to accentuate specific architectural features, create a sense of depth, or influence the mood and atmosphere of a space. We tell stories, draw guidelines, and arouse emotions. We create conversations between natural and artificial light.
🤖 BAULA Project: Bluetooth Application for Urban Lighting Access
The BAULA project aims to develop a mobile application that integrates open communication protocols for urban lighting control, enabling seamless interoperability between different lighting management systems (LMS). As public lighting increasingly adopts wireless control systems, the lack of standardized communication protocols presents a major challenge. NOON Iberica has partnered with Vossloh-Schwabe Ibérica, a leading provider of electronic components and lighting control solutions. The collaboration focuses on creating an open-source application that integrates multiple lighting control protocols into a single, platform-independent interface. By enabling public institutions to manage lighting systems with open, non-proprietary protocols, BAULA supports the broader transition toward smart, energy-efficient cities. The project aligns with sustainability goals by optimizing energy consumption, reducing operational costs, and promoting open technology standards for urban infrastructure.
Noon Iberica S.L.U. will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
