Now led by the third generation, the company combines tradition, expertise, and modern technology to produce high-quality furniture for homes, offices, and medical facilities. Specializing in dental and medical furniture, they also create kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Their products, made from top-quality materials like MDF with polyester protection and Kerrock worktops, are crafted using advanced, computer-controlled machinery. With an in-house color mixing facility, customers can choose from various shades. Mizarstvo Lavre offers free measurements and 3D visualizations, with products present across Slovenia and internationally. Advanced 3D Metal Injection Molding for High-Value Industry Applications - PROTOBOX

The PROTOBOX project is a collaboration between Mizarstvo Lavre, a family-owned custom furniture company, and BALMAR - Matej Balazic, a technology provider specializing in advanced manufacturing processes. The project focuses on developing and piloting a novel 3D Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technique to produce high-quality components for specialized industries, including aerospace and medical sectors. At the heart of this initiative is the creation of a corner connector designed for high-value furniture, which will also be integrated into a prototype Data Recorder Box for aerospace applications. This device is intended to withstand extreme conditions, storing and transmitting critical data. By using BALMAR's expertise in 3D MIM and hybrid additive manufacturing, Mizarstvo Lavre seeks to enhance production efficiency, reduce material waste, and meet stringent industry standards. Through this project, Mizarstvo Lavre aims to diversify its offerings, adopt sustainable practices, and expand into high-value sectors, positioning itself as a leader in advanced and eco-friendly manufacturing.

MIZARSTVO LAVRE, Martin Lavre s.p. will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
