Meeting of the Council of National Key Clusters

Yesterday, a meeting of the Council of National Key Clusters was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development and Technology in Warsaw.
The meeting began with a welcome of the guests by Mr. Marcin Łata, Director of the Department of Innovation and Industrial Policy.
The main topics of the meeting included:
- Results of a survey conducted among KKK members,
- Needs and challenges related to monitoring the development of the KKK,
- Support for National Key Clusters.
Mr. Sebastian Rynkiewicz, President of Evoluma Industrial Cluster, formerly Metal Processing Cluster and Member of the ZPKP Council, spoke on behalf of the National Key Clusters. He presented topics regarding cluster policy and cluster support, which are crucial for the cluster environment, especially in the context of recruitment for the 7th round for the KKK status planned for the second half of the year. The meeting ended with a discussion between KKK coordinators and representatives of the Ministry.
We would like to thank the Ministry of Development and Technology for organizing this event and we hope that in the following weeks there will also be an opportunity for meetings and in-depth conversations, as well as an open dialogue on support and promotion of clusters.
In Poland, as many as 20 clusters (or perhaps only, as it is a narrow group selected in a competition organized by MRIT) have the status of a National Key Cluster. The full list can be found at the KKK list link.
