We are pleased to announce that TEXINOV has been awarded under the SILEO 2° Call for Advanced Technology Uptake Projects!
👉 TEXINOV is a French textile company that has been funded in 1972. First dedicated to the clothing sector, the company has rapidly moved to technical applications. MDB TEXINOV offers textile based solutions to agriculture, healthcare and industry. In our workshop located in France, we provide yarns, nonwoven or knitted structures, functionalized surfaces and assemblyed solutions under the certification ISO9001 and ISO13485. Innovation is the key strategy of the company: we continuously invest in research and development in order to answer market demands and launch breakthrough solutions like our FLUXMEDICARE® photodynamic therapy medical device. Thus this device has been developed internally and is fully produced in our workshop . The technology is based on a LASER source and knitted optical fibers.
🤖 Autonomous textile-based lighting medical device for Photodynamic therapy
TEXINOV is developing an advanced version of its FLUXMEDICARE medical device for photodynamic therapy, focusing on portability and energy efficiency. The project, in collaboration with technology expert PISEO, aims to optimize the LED light source, lenses, and connectors to reduce energy consumption and enable battery operation. This innovation will create a compact, autonomous device suitable for home and portable use, aligning with sustainability goals and expanding Texinov’s market opportunities in dermatology and beyond.
MDB TEXINOV will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
