Insight is an Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) research centre. We support 450 researchers across areas such as the Fundamentals of Data Science, Sensing and Actuation, Scaling Algorithms, Model Building, Multi Modal Analysis, Data Engineering and Governance, Decision Making and Trustworthy AI.

Their research can be applied across four broad areas:

Enterprise and Services
Smart Communities and IoT
Sustainability and Operation.

Insight is helping established SMEs to innovate existing service/products with new capabilities and to grow into new markets. This is a fundamental part of our strategy to assist mainly smaller businesses. Insight drives engagements at a senior level with a significant number high-growth SMEs.
