🤖 APPRODE AR: Prototype of A PROduct Development Augmented Reality application
Fornasarig is undertaking the APPRODE AR project as part of the SILEO initiative. The project focuses on leveraging advanced 3D modeling and augmented reality technologies to optimize furniture design and prototyping. In collaboration with Mario Manganelli, a technology provider with expertise in 3D applications and digital design, TIEMMESET aims to enhance product development through virtual prototyping. This approach will enable faster iterations, reduce material waste, and improve customization capabilities by allowing clients to visualize and modify designs in a digital environment. The project includes the creation of 3D models and renderings for three new furniture products, the integration of augmented reality for design validation and client interaction, and the use of photogrammetry to digitally recreate selected finishes within a virtual reality module. It also involves the preparation of 3D printing files to streamline prototyping and the potential development of an interactive product configurator to assess usability and effectiveness in the sales process.
TIEMMESET S.R.L. will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
