👉 Flowfactory GmbH: Revolutionizing Urban Living with Spacehacking™
Flowfactory GmbH , founded in January 2021, is dedicated to transforming urban living through innovative furniture design. They believe that by creating great spaces, people can feel better. This philosophy guides their efforts to turn often overlooked areas into functional and appealing parts of the home. Their flagship product, the Balcosy® window seat, exemplifies their Spacehacking™ approach. The Balcosy® window seat is a versatile piece that converts a window recess into a comfortable and sunlit spot. It provides a unique place to read, relax, or enjoy the view, offering a small touch of the outdoors within the home. This product aims to enhance living spaces, especially for those in urban environments with limited outdoor access.

SPACEFIT – Spatial Product Application for Customizable Engagement & Fitting Integration Tool
The SPACEFIT project focuses on developing a digital solution for Flowfactory flagship product, Balcosy - a customizable window seat. As the challenge lies in the varying dimensions of windows, which previously required custom measurements and consultations, the SPACEFIT project goal is to create a seamless, self-service digital process for customers, enabling them to measure, visualize, and install Balcosy independently using AR, WebAR, and AI technologies through the collaboration with the technology provider IDEAZ - Edith Öller. Their role includes designing a prototype to test the customer journey and refining the process before launching it as a web-based application. This collaboration will streamline the sales process, reduce environmental impact by minimizing in-person visits, and pave the way for scalable and sustainable digital practices in the furniture industry.
Flowfactory Gmbh will receive indirect EUR 10.500 from the European Union’s Single Market Programme through the SILEO Eurocluster project (GA 101074564).
