Overview

 

Digital Impulse Hub is a  Non for Profit consortium of entities fully operative since 2019, resulting from Public and Private collaboration, to foster digital transformation, innovation and the international competitiveness of Catalonia Region, through the digitalization of SMEs and small Midcaps (Manufacturing, services and Commerce), the digitalization of Internationalization (e-commerce, e-business and e-marketing), the digital transformation of municipalities, the New Digital media, and e-learning.

Digital Impulse Hub is giving service to Catalonia region   SMEs and small Midcaps, that represents 675.000  companies and also to more than 850 municipalities.

Digital Impulse Hub brings together competence centers, universities and their research groups, local administration, all the Catalan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services and, through them, every Catalan company.  The Hub is coordinated by the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services.

Digital Impulse Hub has a strong territorial link to local economy, with a strong impact to SMEs and Midcaps digitalization,  and Municipalities Digitalisation. All business are registered to Chambers according to Spanish Chambers Law, so the bonds with  business community is very strong with the 13 Chambers of Commerce of Catalonia. The bonds with local Public administration are also present due to Localret covering 854 Municipalities in the Region (Almost all).

Although the competence centres members of Digital Impulse Hub are providing state of the art advanced digitalization services,  this Hub is also focusing on raising awareness, providing guidance (Digital Transformation Coaches), tailored training and providing  advanced digital skills to SMEs, small Midcaps and Municipalities. 

Digital Impulse Hub has a rich ecosystem of more than 30 Collaborating Entities that is interacting through specialised digitalisatios services and co-creation, innovation and networking activities.

Digital Impulse Hub is multi-sector, but focusing on Industry 4.0,  Circular Economy, Construction, e-learning,  retail  and wholesale digitalization, digitalization of International business (EEN joint project: e-commerce, e-business and e-market intelligence), as well as Digital Media, according to Regional Smart Specialization Strategy.

Support to Digital Start Ups community in their sustainability, finance and growth is another important focus of Digital Impulse Hub.
