The euWater4i-SD project

The euWater4i-SD project (EUropean Water-smart initiative for fostering International Sustainable Development) is a project financed in the framework of the COSME Clusters Go International (COS-CLUSINT-2020-3-01) Programme by the European Commission.

The project started on the 16th of September 2021 and will end on the 15th of September 2024.

The euWater4i-SD project aimed to set an European Strategic Cluster Partnership for Going International (ESCP-4i). The consortium of five clusters (ACLIMA, CREA Hydro&Energy, Ecoliance, France Water Team, Green Synergy Cluster) developed and implemented an internationalization strategy for European SMEs with two main target areas: Latin America and Eastern Africa.

Internationalisation tools developed and implemented:

✓ Four International Market Factsheets

✓ Coaching & Mentoring: vouchers of 10 hours per SME

✓ Three Online Training Sessions on how to go international

✓ eMarket place

✓ Three Matchmaking Events in Europe (SMAGUA, Pollutec, IFAT)

✓ Four Trade and B2B missions (Bolivia, Mexico, Peru and Colombia)

✓ Two exploratory missions (Kenya, Peru)

✓ Guide on EU funding

 

The euWater4i-SD partnership consists of:

• ACLIMA, environmental cluster, Spain

• CREA Hydro & Energy, water-energy cluster, Czech Republic

• Ecoliance, environmental cluster, Germany

• France Water Team, water cluster, France

• Green Synergy cluster, energy-environment cluster, Bulgaria

The end of the project and EU funding approaching, euWater4i-SD is looking to share and disseminate its results with other clusters, projects and policy makers. A policy paper on “Facilitation tools for joint venture between environmental SMEs wanting to go international in non-EU countries” has already been produced and the consortium would like to share it, along with a one-pager highlighting the project's results, with all its contacts. For communication on social media and websites, euWater4i-SD would also like to create a final video of the project including pictures, animations, testimonials and indicators of the actions undertaken.

 

Ideas of content:

- Testimonials from SMEs about the actions of euWater4i-SD, for example: “Thanks to the professional organization of our Mexico trip by euWater4i-SD, our startup was able to establish important contacts from the beginning, including with the Inter-American Development Bank, German Chambers of Commerce Abroad, and the EU delegation. Through the excellent networking within the EU delegation, we were also able to establish valuable contacts with companies in the EU. “

- Map showing the trade missions organised

- Rating of satisfied participants

- Percentage of participants willing to participate again

- Number of cooperation projects resulting from the actions

- Links to tools available online: Market factsheets, webinars on YouTube, Guide on EU funding…

 

Requested items

The euWater4i-SD project would like to produce:

1. A one pager showcasing the project results including pictures, graphics, indicators, testimonials (max 2 pages if needed)

2. A video of 2 min max also showcasing the project results including pictures, animations, indicators, testimonials

Each item will be produced in English.

 

Deadlines

The euWater4i-SD project call will respect the following timing:

• 15/07/2024: Call opening,

• 04/08/2024 (24:00): Call closing,

• 05/08/2024: Choice of the supplier,

• In the meantime: Exchange with euWater4i-SD representative about the content and graphism (e.g. colours)

• 01/09/2024: Due date for delivering the requested items.

 

Selection criteria

The submission of tenders is opened to service providers from any partnering region. The choice of the supplier will be made on the basis of best value-for-money proposal.

The price for the tender must be quoted in Euro. Tenderers from countries outside the Euro zone have to quote their prices in euro. The price quoted may not be revised in line with exchange rate movements. It is for the tenderer to bear the risks or the benefits deriving from any variation. The quoted price must be a fixed amount which includes all charges.
